Found predominantly in Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, and Mexico, guava is commonly eaten fresh or used as an ingredient in other foods. It can be used medicinally for colic, diarrhea, diabetes, cough, cataracts, high cholesterol, and heart disease. It is high in vitamin C and fiber.
