The oil of the lemongrass, also spelled lemon grass, plant is commonly used in aromatherapy for muscle pain. In foods and beverages, lemongrass is used as a flavoring. In supplements, it can treat digestive tract spasms, stomachache, high blood pressure, pain, vomiting, cough, fever, the common cold, and exhaustion.
